Age of Empires III

What works

I have gotten it installed and played a multiplayer game for 1 minute. (With a windows machine as player 2)

Did not test it enough to conclude anything.

What does not

Installing is not possible without extra DLLs, notably a visible bug where you cannot fit 5 characters into the license box.

The above mentioned bug is fixed by using winetricks to install corefonts. Trying again it complained about mfc42 so I used winetricks again.

I then got it installed...

Trying to start the game it didn't work.

Installing everything this (https://appdb.winehq.org/objec...) said I should, netted me nothing.

I have no idea what I did last time I installed.

Edit: Rebooting suddenly made it kinda work. Still no intro, which I did have yesterday

Workarounds

Using winetricks to install 

winetricks corefonts d3dx9 quartz mfc42 l3codecx msxml4 vcrun6 riched20

Allowed me to atleast install the game.

What was not tested

I did not test single player, map creation or anything besides my 1 minute multiplayer game, which seemed to work perfectly and there was no issues with IP address.

Additional Comments

I got it installed yesterday. Then I had problems with my Arch install and reinstalled arch, now I cant get the game to run.
