What works
missions work ok.
Powers work fine as do effects.
wentworths works ok as does buying items from shops/vendors.
Have leveled 3 characters to lvl 10 - 14 doing missions and beating up thugs on the streets have had no problems.
Game testing using both full screen and wine virtual desktop.
What does not
The chat bug is a bit of a problem especially in a team.
Everytime the patcher starts there is a message that wine needs to install a GECKO (Mozilla HTML engine) however when click install it starts to download gets about 2 thirds to complete then the dialogue box goes away and the patcher starts but no HTML content in the patcher
Installation from the Deluxe edition DVD. Game installs ok but when try to run the patcher hangs at 25MB and does not start again. restarting the patcher does not help.
As a work around I downloaded the client from the website and allowed it do a full download and it works fine.
Checked the dual core bug also adding the switch to use a second core does indeed seem to stop the game from running at all.
Enabling FSAA within the game menu causes the screen to go completely white turning it off returns normal graphics
Changing costume at tailor causes game to CTD

"There seems to be an issue currently with the ingame resolution options. If you change them, then click apply, it will reset the resolution back to before you changed it and tell you to restart. When you restart, the resolution won't have changed. To get it to change you have to set it to the correct resolution, apply, set it again, and then quit the game with the options menu still open."
Information courtesy of Tremblay:
In the registry, in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\OpenGL, have the string value DisabledExtensions set to:
GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object GL_NV_register_combiners GL_NV_register_combiners2 GL_NV_register_combiners3 GL_NV_texture_shader GL_NV_texture_shader2
(basically list each extensions with a space between each)
I can then set the in-game shader option higher than low with bumpmaps.
I think you *could* leave out GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object, I put it there because it helps World of Warcraft.

Jeff has offered another work around:
Run 'CohUpdater.exe -usetexenvcombine' to run in a low graphics mode that allows use of the costume selector and mission architect. Beats adding / removing the registry keys, and it'll usually retain your old graphics settings. Just make sure you don't have any level of antialiasing enabled (2x, 4x, etc) otherwise there'll be graphical wackiness
