Wine 3.0-rc06

It is stated that this game has a Platinum rating on Ubuntu and Ubuntu derivative systems with Wine 3.0-rc06-staging. However, there is NO staging version of said version yet as far as I can tell. It's a bit odd that Wes Snyder says to use that version if that version does not even exist. There is Wine 3.0-rc06, but NO staging version as mentioned.

Storm King's Thunder: Sea of Moving Ice Crash on Startup

Right after patching the game will crash on the Cryptic loading screen. To workaround this, disable d3dcompiler_47 in winecfg.

workaround for recent breakage due to dx11 function call

In a recent Neverwinter patch, a dx11 function call is issued during startup, causing wine to abort with an error about missing implementation for D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain.

If you have this problem, just apply Austin English's patch available at:

source.winehq.org/patches/data/108353

Stubbing this is enough to get the game working again.
