Fedora 22 x86_64 using wine-1.7.44-1.fc22.i686 Prerequisites ------------- * winetricks (32bit) * cabextract winetricks is used to install .NET Framework cabextract is needed to run the MSI installer Installation ------------ Create a new 32-bit wine prefix with: $ WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-tcg WINEARCH=win32 winecfg $ winetricks dotnet30 Download the dotnet30 exe from the website and follow the instructions listed by winetricks. After installation of dotnet30, install the app with: $ WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-tcg wine msiexec /i PokemonInstaller.msi After installation of the app, run it with the following command: $ WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-tcg WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dnsapi=b" wine "/path/to/Pokemon Trading Card Game Online.exe" You can edit the .desktop file created by wine so that you don't have to run the app manually from the CLI everytime. It is located at: .local/share/applications/wine/Programs/PokÃ©mon\ Trading\ Card\ Game\ Online/PokÃ©mon\ Trading\ Card\ Game\ Online.desktop Add WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-tcg into the Exec line (in front of "env" but before "wine"). You may have to use the fully qualified path to your home directory instead of ~. You may also have to add "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dnsapi=b"" also.
