What works

Pretty much everything: sound, music, keyboard.

What does not

When game is on fullscreen and loses focus, it's impossible to go back (you have to kill it). Turning virtual desktop emulation on in winecfg seems to be safest solution.

Only started the game; I haven't finished it with Wine and I don't intend to (see comments).

StS is baced on SCUMM and GOG.com supplies it with ScummVM for Windows; I even run ScummVM with wine and changed game configuration to see subtitles (and hear MIDI music!). Anyway, although you can run it with almost no problem, I recommend using native ScummVM for Linux instead of Wine.
