This version is coming in the bundle with the old Delphi 1 and should beused for the development purposes if developing 16bit database applications in Delphi 1.
The DBD uses the 16bit Borland database engine (BDE), the used version of BDE configuration utility is 2.5, I cannot determine the exact version of BDE libraries itself.
The application starts, the splash screen displays shortly.
What does not
After the splash screen hasbeen displayed, the the initialization of DBD (Database Desktop) starts, but approximatelly in 2-4% of splash screen gauge the application crashes.
What was not tested
Nothing from the application could be tested.
This is important, because it is the only way how to access the old paradox database filed under Linux, there is generally no tool at all which would be able to read such data.
