ContaCam 4.9.5 has some changes to previous versions (see the changelog at contaware.com for full details), but is essentially the same as previous versions.
ContaCam is a video surveillance application that monitors and/or records all the time or on motion detection. Zones can be set for motion detection. Saved video captures and recordings can be accessed via a browser on the local network or over the internet.
All features except for builtin webserver. Native Linux Apache server must be used instead.
Email messaging service from ContaCam was not tested.
Testing was performed using both 32bit and 64 bit versions of Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, 13.04, 13.10, and with WINE versions 1.4, 1.6, and 1.7.14.
What does not
Builtin webserver does not work in WINE. Native Linux Apache server must be used instead.
Builtin msvfw32.dll has problems, must use native msvfw32.dll by coping the native file into WINE's system32 directory.
