What works

Updating works with workaround.¹

Single player, multiplayer, in game shop, external link opening, menus, and most every other aspect of the game.

What does not

⁞Update and perhaps install require renaming Launcher.exe.tmp to Launcher.exe either in the install folder or /home/USER/WINE_PREFIX/drive_c/users/USER/Local Settings/Application Data/Warframe/Downloaded/Public/Tools/

This will overwrite the existing Launcher.exe.

Restart the launcher after this and the update will continue but, not show progress saying only "checking for updated content".

In game chat fails to work for some. This also affects some Windows users as well requiring "workstation service" to be enabled.  This is due to an SSL error that I have not found a workaround for.

Many textures are solid black no matter the offscreen rendering mode used.

Interestingly, "backbuffer" causes the motion blur and dof to blur the whole screen all of the time and blows out the bloom to the point of washing out the screen.

If those are turned off the textures are still too bright but, playable. The black textures can be lit by dynamic lights in this mode for some reason.

Menus have Z buffer issues in this mode as they are clipped by invisible upside down objects.

For example, the navigation menu will have an upside down silhouette of your character cut out of it.

Additional Comments

The launcher bug is easy to work around. The chat bug is annoying if you want to talk to others in game without using voice chat. The black textures are also annoying but, for me, easy to ignore most of the time. Other than those issues this game runs faster than on Windows for me.
