I attempted to follow this very helpful thread https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/2vh770/warframe_on_wine_revived_21015/, which did completely resolve the update issue, but may be of help to someone else!

Using wine-1.7.51 (Staging) (wine-staging.com) and winetrix-20150826
Using 32-bit Wineprefix
I am setup all Games into single partition mounted on «/games».
