Additional Comments

Made a new entry, based on new information and physical tests. This is how I got it to play. 1: Create a fresh Wildstar prefix with WINEARCH=win32 by typing "WINEPREFIX=~/prefix/wildstar/ WINEARCH=win32 winecfg". Please edit to suit your own folder structure. :) 2: Install the following via winetricks in the prefix created: ie8 and winhttp. Command would be something like "WINEPREFIX=~/prefix/wildstar/ winetricks ie8 winhttp". But I split it up, so I installed them seperately. 3: Run the Wildstar installer from the prefix, and afterwards run the wildstar.exe from the game path within the prefix. So for me that was "WINEPREFIX=~/prefix/wildstar/ wine Downloads/Wildstar.exe" to launch the installer and install the game. And "WINEPREFIX=~/prefix/wildstar/ wine Games/Wildstar/Wildstar.exe" to launch the game and play. Edit those to fit your own folder structure aswell. :) 4: If your game crashes some minutes in, it might be because your VRAM setting in wine is wrong for your video card. To fix this run "WINEPREFIX=~/prefix/wildstar/ wine regedit" and do the following change. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Wine -> Direct3D (if it's not there, create it) -> VideoMemorySize (if the string is not there, create it). Create this string or edit it to match your video card's RAM amount in MegaBytes. Mine was 2048. This fixed the crashing issue for me.
