Install the game, even it takes an entire hour (!) since it had 44 Gb of data files.
It needs winetricks (or a third party tool to ease the setup) to install DirectX and Xact prior installation, then the game's installer updates the Direct 3D libraries and C++ runtime libraries itself.
Otherwise, a XAudio or C++ runtime error would occur when starting the game.
Needs a powerful GPU to play this game. Low budget cards, like the GT440 will not play nicelly. Otherwise, high-end cards like the GTX 970 will run at fullspeed even with all highest settings!
What does not
Without the DirectX (d3dx) prior installation, the game fails to run.
What was not tested
Playing beyond the first chapter.
My first tested game on my new machine: Intel Core i7- 4th generation with a NVidia GT 440 (a little weak). The game requires a CPU with AVX instruction set, like the 4th generation Core chips (even a i7 is labelled as minimum requirements (!)), and appears to be a direct port of PS4 version, since the A10 x86-64 type are very similar to my PC with i7 with 4 core - 8 threads chip. Wine-Staging may help some computers with low graphic cards, since the CSMT helps to boost the graphics performance, however a real and smooth gameplay will require a high-end card like the GTX970 to play without issues... literally!
