I have needed to install vc2005 and mscorefonts to work and avoid crashes. For sound on mac is also need to add a override to openal32 in winecfg. I'm also playing using the unofficial english patch REngpatch (http://sourceforge.net/projects/playbnstranslation/files/) but I need to install the .NET 4.0 framework using winetricks and disable all update options in it. You can only update trough english launcher when it's running in a Windows VM.
