Additional Comments

1) Install the game by running wine Setup.exe on the first CD. 2) When done, apply the official 1.1. patch you can find here: http://official.planescape-torment.org/trmt11.exe (only for the 4 CD version, the 2 CD version is already patched) 3) Install the unofficial fix pack: http://www.planescape-torment.org/fix.zip (not required) 4) Install the no-cd crack: http://www.planescape-torment.org/mods/pstcrack4cd.zip (4 CD version) or http://www.planescape-torment.org/mods/pstcrack2cd.zip (2 CD version) Note that I was not able to run the game without this crack. 5) Copy all the CD you have inside the directory where you installed Torment. Now you should have the directories ..\Torment\cd1\ ..\Torment\cd2\ ... 6) Change the [Alias] section in your Torment.ini to match your local copy of the CDs, i.e.: [Alias] HD0:=C:\Program Files\Torment CD1:=C:\Program Files\Torment\cd1\ CD2:=C:\Program Files\Torment\cd2\ CD3:=C:\Program Files\Torment\cd3\ CD4:=C:\Program Files\Torment\cd4\ CD5:=C:\Program Files\Torment\cd5\ (dunno what the CD5 is for, but was already there) 7) Change the [Program Options] section final lines in your Torment.ini to: SoftSrcKeyBltFast=1 SoftBltFast=1 SoftSrcKeyBlt=1 SoftBlt=1 SoftMirrorBlt=1 8) Run winecfg. Create a special config for Torment.exe, with: Windows version: Windows NT 4.0 Graphics: disable all Audio: Only OSS drivers, Hardware Acceleration as Emulation, 22050, 8 bit 9) Play the game by running: wine Torment.exe
