The game installs and runs. Need to set to virtual desktop and replace the 1 with a 0 in the Torment.ini in the Fullscreen section.  Also after installing look in Torment.ini to make sure your cd drives path is correct. After I installed it the path was for Z: when my drive is F: in wine. Also change max fps in Torrent.ini to 40.
Do not install the 1.1 patch if you are using the 2 cd version, at least for me after I did it would just keep coming up with a insert cd no matter what I had set in the ini file. If you have already patched the game then just take the file Torment.ex_ from the first disk and put it in the games directory, delete the Torment.exe thats there and rename the one from the cd to Torment.exe.
Im giving it a silver because you can't see the movies and you have to have it windowed. Even in the virtual desktop something isn't quite right, the game runs on top of another box where the game screen should be, if that makes sense.
What does not
Movies don't seem to work and neither did fullscreen at all for me no matter what color bit I set or anything. Â
What was not tested
Didn't play through the whole game but it seemed to run great (except for whats been mentioned.)and in fullspeed.
Just install the game, after install go to the game directory and in the Torment.ini make sure the cd path is correct , switch Fullscreen=1 to Fullscreen=0 and switch Max fps=30 to Max fps=40. Make sure you virtual desktop on in wine configurator for this game.
