What works

Unlike the Heart of Nightmares expansion everything works as expected, cards are now visible again

What does not

Textures inside the shop ui are displayed wrong (color channel switched) but it's no big problem

Assuming a ubuntu based distro is used Step 1: Downloading the game -install missing dependencies if any sudo apt-get install jq axel p7zip p7zip-full -download version file from the ubisoft server wget http://pdc-doc-launcher.ubi.com/Patches/MMDoC-PDCLive.txt -get latest patch url and download using axel download accelerator because wget is slow axel -a http://pdc-doc-launcher.ubi.com/"$(cat MMDoC-PDCLive.txt | jq '.[0] | .http' | sed 's/\"//g' )" -extract the 7z archive to the `MMDoC` folder in current working dir 7z x MMDoC-PDCLive.7z -o./MMDoC -y -optionally delete both downloaded files as they are not needed anymore rm -f MMDoC-PDCLive.txt MMDoC-PDCLive.7z Step 2: Configure wine winetricks d3dx9_43 d3dcompiler_43 orm=backbuffer videomemorysize=512 vd=off That is all, the game should run fine now PS: Since there is no launcher step 1 must be performed every time the game gets updated
