1. .rvproj2 files are opened fine within the RPG Maker Editor, they simply don't work when double clicked on since that requires Windows registry features Wine cannot emulate at present. They can occasionally fail to work properly in Windows as well in some rare cases.
2. Opening the Manage Projects setting and changing the default folder for all projects will ensure project save both locally and on the Cloud, otherwise they will usually work only with the latter. This also allows modifying the project folders outside of the editor directly. This is due to how Linux's directory structure differs from WIndows, easily fixed by having all project save in a default folder outside of the .wine folder in the Home directory.
3. Any user-added Ruby scripts that dynamically resize windows added to projects outside of the default ingame options do not work properly, due to the differences in the X window manager that the scripts do not work well with, as said scripting makes calls to Windows API functions with no equivalents in Linux at present.
