Additional Comments
When it loads with default compatibility (XP) it produces a full screen on which the mouse cursor is invisible. Mouse cursor is visible in title bar allowing application to be closed, but only when dialogue pops up to offer a forced termination. There may be a simple fix, I will carry on working with it. The programme seems to combine 16 bit and 32 bit features. Tried some different Windoze compatibility versions and most produced the same result except that only the title bar was visible.

I am new to Wine and have submitted a request for help with this application. If I get it working, I'll add approriate instructions and change its status.
Other TA applications look promising and I will post them on AppDB soon (if no-one else does it first).
For Linux machines, much better to go for Tapps2 if the hardware that is being programmed is compatible. This programme has problems with most versions of Windoze being a Frankenstien's monster of mixed 16 bit and 32 bit code.
