What does not

  • MIDlet freezes if using M3G on SWT-OpenGL mode, use LWJ-OpenGL instead
  • Poor performance on SWT-GDI+ mode, use AWT-Graphics instead
  • M3G Viewer crashes if m3g-dependent MIDlet is open

            -> I'm not sure if this issue doesn't occurs on Windows 10

            -> Tested MIDlet was Resident Evil 4 (fan-made)

  • Application crashes with SWTException if it's quickly zoomed-in right in the right corner of the screen

What was not tested

  • SMS Console
  • J2ME is a huge platform, so i couldn't test every MIDlet

Additional Comments

� File emulation has it's own application bugs that also occurs on Windows, wich limits compatibility to most MIDlets that depends on this API


Prolonged tests were made to find out about SWTException bug on Wine 6.20 and Wine 6.21 for over 1 week, the application didn't crashed on startup anymore but i'm not sure if this problem is gone.
KEmulator doesn't need special configurations anymore and now works out-of-the-box

Java required

Java for Windows is required to use this application
Download it (Recommended version: Java Runtime Environment 6u45 x86)

KEmulator's built-in Java works, just run KEmulator.exe

Performance

KEmulator in Wine has better performance on JRE 1.6
