What does not

When starting the game (via Steam) the game does not start, but hangs in an infinite loop.

Workarounds

The game uses the windows "setupapi" to get details of the primary
monitor. This is not completely implemented in wine. Workaround by
adding the corresponding registry keys manually:

The value of "HardwareID" is important, as this is the default id of the display that wine emulates

Additional Comments

game (and thereby dependencies) was installed via Steam. There were also other steam-games installed in the same wineprefix.

If you have no sound in cinematics, you can install xact_64 with winetricks (if you use a 64 bits WINEPREFIX).
