What works
Installation works out of the box; application in Wine 1.6.2 needs an override.for gdiplus.
After that, the application seems to work fine, have tested Firebird, Oracle and MySQL connectivity specifically.
I was able to browse meta data, data, view BLOB images etc without problems. What does not
When using Windows 7 compatibility in Wine, quite a few labels were cut short, using Windows XP compatibility instead, fixed this.

Additional Comments
This applications needs a gdiplus override. MySQL, NexusDB and Oracle can be used directly, other DBMSses require additional client libraries to be installed, to be downloaded from the websites of the vendors for those products. To connect to ODBC, ADO or MS Access data sources, you have to install MDAC and JET with Winetricks. Detailed manuals for other Linux versions and MacOSX can be found here: http://www.upscene.com/company/support
