What works

I only tested the pdf editing tools. Cropping 95 pages looked like it got stuck for some minutes, I think it was reading the complete pdf which was 200 pages long. It eventually unstuck itself and cropped all of them as expected. I think it behaved the same way in windows.

Workarounds

I added a 32 bit prefix, this one to be exact (ignore start and end quotes only): "WINEPREFIX="$HOME/prefix32" WINEARCH=win32 wine wineboot"

I installed MSXML6 on winetricks as stated above -> "winetricks msxml6"

I installed "Winbind" not "winebind" as stated above, I guess it was a typo . (So -> "apt install winbind")

Then I also set "winecfg" to windows 7 compatibility as stated above but confirmed it works if you configure it as windows 10

The crack required to paste some files in ABBYY instalation directory, so I did that. And then I had to execute a .bat file included in the crack, which I did by opening the location of the .bat file in the terminal and using > "wine cmd" command and then typing "start filename.bat"  ("filename" being the name of the bat file.)

What was not tested

I only tested the pdf editing tools.
