What works
Application installs and runs perfectly. the links to the helper apps from the IDE all function correctly. Programs can be assembled correctly and simulated.
What does not
Seiral port communications are very slow and often fail requiring a microcontroller reset or restarting the application.

Serial communications through wine are probably the source of the issues this program has. there are programs that run under linux that can download the program to the microcontroller via the serial port natively, and then you could use the IDE as a simulator.

How to install it: Install it manually under wine-20041019 (recomended for flashing the hc08 device) or 20050524 (strongly recommended if you are just going to simulate) and the whole kit will work like out of the box
