Ultra Street Fighter IV

Steam release of the game originally known as 'Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition' (SSF4AE), updated with new content, and renamed as 'Ultra Street Fighter IV' (USF4).  The new content has been made available for purchase in the form of DLC for owners of the original title.  Any who purchased USF4 after the name change should already have the DLC in their library.  DLC being optional for those original owners of SSF4AE, let this serve as the hub for those with or without the new content.

Additional Comments

PERFORMANCE ----------- I tested with Wine Staging PPA, and enabled CSMT. Steam was installed through Winetricks, the prefix is 64bits. I removed the automatic dwrite override since it's not necessary anymore with 1.7.49. CSMT might be the reason I had no trouble with menu flashing as I saw in other comments. My rig has a 670GTX and i5 3570K @4.5Ghz, and the game runs perfectly fine. The ingame test says 270 fps (I maxed everything in the options except AA which is disabled). Nvidia driver is 346.87 from xorg-edgers PPA. STICK ISSUES ------------ I had trouble with the fight stick, it was recognized but appeared twice : event, and js. The game was using one for player 1, and the second for player 2, which is an issue since it's the same stick. I disabled one of them in the control panel, by running the command below : wine control joy.cpl The Hori RAP 3 is designed for the PS3, and can simulate the pad and both sticks. By default when you plug it, it seems L & R sticks axis are not correctly initialized, so you need to at least enable them once and move the stick around so it will be positionned in the center. Otherwise, the game will consider "up" is pressed at all times, preventing you to do anything. You will probably need to do this everytime you start the game, even if you don't disconnect the stick.
