Ultra Street Fighter IV

Steam release of the game originally known as 'Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition' (SSF4AE), updated with new content, and renamed as 'Ultra Street Fighter IV' (USF4).  The new content has been made available for purchase in the form of DLC for owners of the original title.  Any who purchased USF4 after the name change should already have the DLC in their library.  DLC being optional for those original owners of SSF4AE, let this serve as the hub for those with or without the new content.

What works

Mostly everything

What does not

- Steam overlay

- Some 2D graphic "layers" are missing (some text in the menu, the background in the character selection menu, others...) but the 3D in battle graphic is ok.

 - Options -> Button config: if I try to change button configuration (options menu or in game button config) the game crashes. This happens even if the joypad is not connected so I suspect the problem is the keyboard. I haven't found a workaround to configure my joypad.

Additional Comments

SYSTEM DETAILS: -------------- Linux Mint 17.2 "Rafaela" x86-64 Kernels (all versions tested): 3.16, 3.19, 4.2 cpu Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller driver=i915 Logitech Gamepad F310 (works fine) Wine (all versions tested): 1.7.52(both normal and wine-staging) 1.7.53(wine-staging) 1.7.54 (wine-staging) STICK ISSUES ------------ (same problem as evilny0, so I'll copy/paste here his description) I had trouble with the fight stick, it was recognized but appeared twice : event, and js. The game was using one for player 1, and the second for player 2, which is an issue since it's the same stick. I disabled one of them in the control panel, by running the command below : wine control joy.cpl By default when you plug it, it seems L & R sticks axis are not correctly initialized, so you need to at least enable them once and move the stick around so it will be positionned in the center. Otherwise, the game will consider "up" is pressed at all times, preventing you to do anything. You will probably need to do this everytime you start the game, even if you don't disconnect the stick.
