Version 1.11 from GOG.com includes nGlide wrapper (0.99) from Zeus Software which allows "3DFx opengl" driver setting to be used. There is a delay when switching to the desktop and back when using nGlide.
Currently the generic "default OpenGL" driver setting segfaults. Setting "MaxVersionGL" in the Wine registry to 10003 or earlier for the OpenGL versions that were standard when the game was released does not correct the problem.
There are a few bugs in the game and the add-on, some of which prevent completion of the game. The console command "noclip" can be used to continue past them. Some community mods reportedly fix these and other errors.
The game is reportedly available on Steam as part of SiN Episodes: Emergence.
