Additional Comments

Install the dependencies listed on VPVP and gdiplus. DirectDraw renderer should be set to OpenGL. To enable AVI rendering, install devenum, quartz, then extract dxnt.cab from the DirectX 2010 February installer (found in .cache/winetricks) with cabextract. Extract qcap.dll and qedit.dll from the cab to system32, then set the override for this dlls to native and native, builtin for d3d9. This works for the 32-bit version. This workaround may or may not work with the 64-bit version.
