This version introduced features such as handwriting and nudges.
Virtually everything I tested, which includes all general IM functions, adding smileys and using them (animated or otherwise), winks, logging in and out and having it work without a crash, applying a color scheme to the program or a picture background, using an avatar (set to small size), and a few other small things.
What does not
Using avatars set to the bigger size, running without DLL overrides, and the tab listing a minimized chat window will not blink when a new message is recieved.
What was not tested
Webcams and some other random settings I can't name off the top of my head.
I'd give it a gold but I don't know if there are bugs in the other features of MSN. However, it's great this is working. I didn't really care if it worked or not, but the rest of my family sure like having a familiar piece of software to use for IM (none of them like Pidgin or Kopete).
