When trying to run from terminal i get lots of errors, including some mentioning of "Failed to set pixel format 4 on device context" and problems with finding the the correct "iPixelFormat" and loads of Fixme's last before ending terminal output. It does not start.

This might be a solution though; running the jar file itself from an extracted windows or osx version download of the installer. http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-49623.html The link is several months/ versions old how ever so it may no longer be a n option
