What works
The installation requires the following packages to be installed:
Internet Explorer
Download the files for offline installation, then install them.
MDAC
MDAC requires the genuine advantage verification, but a tool is provided by the website to generate a code.
-Download the tool
-run the tool, this generates a code
-enter the code on the site
-wine is validated as a genuine installation !!! ;-)
JET
All can be freely downloaded from the Microsoft website
The program can be started succesfully and an exisisting log can be opened
What does not
Downloading new dives from my dive computer using the infrared port does not work
