to make video scenes work, I used:
winetricks WMP9 quartz devenum.

to change the video settings, I used this fix:
DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round Settings Fix-BAT, which can be found here: http://www.multiupfile.com/f/0355effce9

you can edit the shortcut the game executables  and put the parameters of the fix that works perfectly.
tested on gtx 750 ti fx 8320 and 16gb of ram. I finished the game, and also played against other people running all kinds of joysticks for all modes.
