Resident Evil Revelations 2

What works

I beat the Episodes 1 - 4  on wine-5.0.2. Nvidia Geforce 730 GT with proprietary driver 440.100.

You will need to install wmp11 and xact with winetricks for the game to work.

I also used the Resident Evil HD Remaster fps fix  d3d9.dll on https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/w... to lessen the game stuttering which it did but it did not remove it completely. I still had some stuttering once in a while and at areas where the level was loading up.

The game had the screen flickering on nvidia a lot until i added the

[CPU]

to the config.ini located in  "/home/myuser/.wine/drive_c/users/myuser/Local Settings/Application Data/CAPCOM/RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS 2"

What does not

1.Sound Stutters

2.Controller sees one controller as two.

3.Digital pad was not detected by wine.

Workarounds

1.Sound stutters a bit if you don't set the windows version to windows XP.

2.I had to use wine control joy.cpl to disable both joysticks then i used regedit and went to
HKCU>Software>Wine>DirectInput>Joysticks modified one of them to enabled.

3. My controls digital pad did not work on wine. I used antimicro to map the buttons digital pad.

What was not tested

Online play was not tested.

Raid mode not fully tested.
