What works
Game installs fine.
Running the app via:
wine SpaceEngine.exe
brings up the loading screen - after a while an error message is shown indicating that there was an error loading the shader generator with the option to proceed without procedurally generated planets. If one selects yes the game main menu is shown.
What does not
The game crashes after entering the "Planetarium" when launched via
wine SpaceEngine.exe
Running the app via:
optirun wine SpaceEngine.exe
eventually crashes after the shaders were computed.
The following error message is printed at the end:
err:eventlog:ReportEventW L"Error: {ERR-008w} getaddrinfo error: \n"
fixme:win:RegisterDeviceNotificationW (hwnd=0x1006a, filter=0x64ee98c,flags=0x00000000) returns a fake device notification handle!
