Most users say that the main selling point of FL Studio is the workflow and interface, which is geared towards putting the user's creativity first.
after following the steps explained below, everything within FL Studio works just like in windows, flawless.
What does not
1: menu items, window labels containing text are empty.
this problem can be corrected by installing "corefonts"
2: asio4all drivers for windows. these just won't work in wine.
instead of using asio4all there is wineasio, which when combined with jack, can result in low latencies similar to a windows environment with asio4all drivers installed.
What was not tested
3-rd party plugins integration (dxi, vst, vsti).
kernel version: 4.4.0-22-generic

The FL Studio UI can sometimes go haywire if you workspaces in your desktop environment - the audio engine works and events are handled (for example, space still plays/pauses the project) but the UI is frozen.
