Dictionary requires Polish locale to display and input of Polish characters. If non-Polish locale is used in the operating system, it might be simply run for the dictionary only with the following command: export LANG="pl_PL.UTF-8" && wine [path to the dictionary's .exe file] If the above requirement is not met then the dictionary does not display Polish characters and it is impossible to input them.
