Google Adwords Editor

What works

Google AdWords Editor 11.1.3 works fine on Linx Mint 13 with Wine 1.6.1.

There is one little trick: During the installation, configure Wine as Windows 7, but after installation, configure Wine as Windows XP,  before starting the program.

Other than this little dance to and from Windows 7, no other configuration was necessary. Here is a detailed installation procedure in Dutch, but with pictures and terminal output in English.

What does not

After installing AdWord Editor, running it within a Windows 7 environment, does not work. The problem seems to be with Qt.

I'm just so glad I don't have to leave Linux anymore for doing some serious AdWords business. Especially since the data often comes from a MySQL database
