What works
Everything so far. This is AMAZING! (you may notice this is my first wine successfull use). I've tried quite a few of the things that I-view does that nothing else does so well (full screen, navigating, rotating, resizing, enhancing, effects), it all worked once the picture is there.
What does not
mfc42.dll was required (got it from my win98), and I needed to save the install iview398.exe in the system32 folder. Afterwards the install ran perfect.
I couldn't drag-and-drop pictures from the desktop, but once I used file-open on the Iview menu, everything was a breeze. It would load following pictures just pressing [space], which is something I love of that program.
Workarounds
What was not tested
I-view has many features I did not try yet, including plug-ins (which I seldom used anyways in my win95 box).

Additional Comments
I love it! Yamaplos
