What works
From an earlier user's post:
"3:Print doesn't even open, although I was expecting it." -- Print dialog opens now, but printing itself doesn't function, I think. I don't have my printer set up in linux yet.
"4:!!!This One is CRITICAL for me, this is is what got it to Bronze: Keyboard Shortcuts DO NOT work." -- Keyboard shortcuts function now! I tested 'I', 'B', arrow keys, spacebar, 'O', 'S', and decided they were working well enough for me. Yay!
"5:Awfully SLOW." -- I felt that IrfanView is just as fast as on windows, and possibly better than some native linux apps, which is quite impressive!
What does not
"2:Graphical
problems:Dimensions of some dialogs, like the save for example, are
totally wrong and resizing is not possible. The save dialog shows about
as big as the app with the info and buttons in a corner.Open dialog :
the same, etc" -- This is still a problem. The save and open dialogs are about twice as wide and high as they need to be / were in windows.
Twinview support: Full screen is still a bit buggy on KDE (didn't test GNOME or others). Kwin's maximize button causes the window to remain maximized on one monitor, but hitting enter (View->Fullscreen) creates a to expand to cover both screens. In my opinion, wine is somehow not reading the window borders from Xorg, Twinview, Kwin, or wherever else these values are stored.
Workarounds
What was not tested
"1:App does not install. First it complains about mfc42.dll, I
copy the dll, then it throws an Error: The ordinal 688-0 could not be
located...... I tried three dll files from different places, the same,
so I got the archive from the iview site" -- I didn't try installing; I ran Irfanview mounted from my windows hard drive without installing it. This may or may not still be a problem.

Additional Comments
Improving! Silver, because it's still not flawless.
