The WP BASIC version is completely free to use after a simple email registration with AV Stumpfl. The limitation of the basic version is: only one track each of audio, video and images are available.
The basic version is the one that I've tested. I think however that the WP STARTER, WP ADVANCED and WP PRO versions run the same.

The video output is the only thin issue remaining to bring this excellent software to linux (and mac of course)
I currently suspect OpenCV as the problem (Wings apparently uses OpenCV to present the video output). There may also be issues with DirectX or WGL. I would like to receive feedback from other Wine users. Perhaps somebody has the right idea.

The Starter, Advanced and Pro versions are protected by a dongle (Sentinel). As these are USB based, there might be issues.
Projector steering is based on USB, there might still be issues.

- requires DirectX9 - appearance of fonts can be improved with MSCorefonts I've rated this as garbage because it misses the whole goal of this software which is to present a video output. Fixing this single issue would elevate it directly to silver or gold standard.
