What works

Mostly everything so far (I'm about halfway through the game). There were a couple issues getting it set up, hence the Gold rating (See extra notes), but overall it was pretty painless.

I'm using a controller to play, and it autoconfigured. Logitech F310 set to XInput mode (X on the switch on the back)

What does not

Everything works up to the point I'm at.

What was not tested

The second half of the game and beating it.

Additional Comments

Here's what I did to get it running: 1. Created a clean, 32-bit wine prefix and installed Steam + FF4. 2. Ran 'winetricks xact' (For XAudio2, without it the game had no audio past intro sequence and stalled during the first battle). 3. Set my resolution in the Launcher and started the game. 4. Played through half the game in one sitting. :p My wine prefix is set to Windows XP (Under Windows 8.1 config, XAudio2 audio crackles and pops really badly.) If it doesn't run, try running 'winetricks vcrun2012' as this game requires it, though it should install automatically with steam. My specs: Lenovo Thinkpad T410 Intel i5 M520 4GB of RAM First Generation Intel HD Graphics Debian KDE 8.1 Jessie 64-bit (Kernel 3.16)(Mesa 10.3)
