Installed without issues. Seems like all the functions work, but the calculations are wrong.
What does not
On start up the EZNEC complains that the Arial font is missing.
I get a wavelength of 7.495E+11m for 4.0MHz. Wavelength should be 74.95E+0m (75 meter) Needless to say my R,X, and SWRs calculations are incorrect. The author of the program has informed me that this is a problem in WINE for several years now. Running the program in windows works and calculates fine.
copy the arial.ttf over from Windows to the WINE 'system', See WIKI for font replacement
What was not tested
A lot of the calculations were not tested because I didn't see a point in continuing testing when something as simple as a wavelength calculation cannot be done correctly.
I really hate to say it is garbage since it appears to me that WINE is not translating something correctly. The EZNEC program is a wonderful program in Windoze.
