What works
- Starting a new drawing
- Using drawing tools and symbols
- Effects
- Exports
- Installing updates and add-ons
What does not
- Fonts are not scaled the same under wine than in windows. This means that sharing maps between windows and linux installs have some issues, especially if there are lot of text on the map. This also applies to font sizes for symbols with embedded text
Workarounds
- Font sizes can easily be manually adjusted. For symbols with built in text properties, place them with blank text, and add text using the regular text tools instead.
What was not tested
- Printing

Additional Comments
- The export window doesn't show the the progress (This is basically a windows cmd window with text output), it just stays black. The export finishes fine, but since larger exports can take some time, you don't get any feedback.
- Also note that the default image viewer in wine is wine internet explorer. It sometimes fails to open the exported images when you have told CC3+ to open the default image viewer after exporting. This seems to be an issue with the image viewer, and not CC3+ though, as the image viewer does open, and it is pointed at the correct path, it just simply does not load the image. I recommend you change the default image viewer in wine, or just don't tell CC3+ to open it when done, and simply manually open it in your regular image viewer under linux instead.

When opening existing maps, you'll find that the fonts don't render the same size as on Windows.
This can be fixed by changing the font properties of the existing text in the map and unchecking the 'Use New Metrics' option. This should cause the fonts to render the same size (extremely close anyway) as they did on Windows, and they'll still display fine if you open that map in Windows.
You should obviously keep this option off for any new text you place if you want to be able to open the map in Windows and have it look the same.
