Additional Comments
While CC3+ installs and runs out of the box, there are a few minor issues - Fonts do not render the same size as on windows. This is an inconvenience when using the same map on both windows and linux - Export dialog shows now progress text, you just have to wait untill it is done (which can take some time on large exports) - Linux tends to be very quick to say that the program is not responding and offering to force quit. Always say 'Wait' and wait untill it is done. - Launching the image viewer automatically after install doesn't work. 'Wine Internet Explorer' shows up, with the appropriate path to the image, but the window is blank. The image is fine though, and can be opened manually in any image viewer/editor.

When opening existing maps, you'll find that the fonts don't render the same size as on Windows.
This can be fixed by changing the font properties of the existing text in the map and unchecking the 'Use New Metrics' option. This should cause the fonts to render the same size (extremely close anyway) as they did on Windows, and they'll still display fine if you open that map in Windows.
You should obviously keep this option off for any new text you place if you want to be able to open the map in Windows and have it look the same.
