I regularly update this program with each new release. No
problems when updating - I just download the update executable and run
it in the drive.
In my opinion this is a professional tool and
the developer does a lot of work to keep it going. Consider donating as
it is worth it.
My day-to-day tasks include:
- Querying MySQL DB
- Updating large datasets
- SELECTing large resultsets
- Managing the DB
- Importing/Exporting data
- Creating DBs, DB Tables and so forth
I use this tool as my workbench DB explorer and it is awesome.
What does not
Nothing to my knowledge. I use this program on a day to day basis to connect to production servers running MySQL and PGSQL.

In order to use connections over SSH you will need to use Putty and more-specifically it's PLINK.EXE ! Put it in the same virtual drive somewhere and reference it in Heidy's Session Manager. Tip: If you want multiple concurrent connections using SSH and PLINK.exe each one must have a different port in the SSHTunel tab.

If you need to use MSSQL you have to install mdac28 via winetricks.
