Logo, Direct3D and related, Japanese encoding - instead, an "ASCII vomit" will be displayed.

Additional Comments

Again, copied the files D3DRM.DLL and DX7VB.DLL to Wine's /WINDOWS/system32 beforehand, originary from a Windows XP install, however the installer was to install the former with the game. Then tried adding these keys, like last test: HKCR,CLSID\{E1211353-8E94-11D1-8808-00C04FC2C602},,,"DirectX6" HKCR,CLSID\{E1211353-8E94-11D1-8808-00C04FC2C602}\InprocServer32,,,"\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DX7VB.DLL" HKCR,CLSID\{E1211353-8E94-11D1-8808-00C04FC2C602}\InprocServer32,"ThreadingModel",,"both" HKCR,CLSID\{E1211353-8E94-11D1-8808-00C04FC2C602}\ProgID,"",,"DIRECT.DirectX6.0" HKCR,CLSID\{E1211353-8E94-11D1-8808-00C04FC2C602}\VersionIndependentProgID,"",,"DIRECT.DirectX6.0" HKCR,DIRECT.DirectX6.0,,,"DirectX6" HKCR,DIRECT.DirectX6.0\CLSID,,,"{E1211353-8E94-11D1-8808-00C04FC2C602}" These last two, however, threw a "File exists" error upon creating the DIRECT.DirectX6.0 key, even though it does not appear to exist.
