Detecting and cleaning some things applicable under Wine:
Intelligent cookie scanning.
Startup item management.
Switching UI to several randomly picked languages other than English (including East Asian and right-to-left languages).
What does not
Wiping MFT free space obviously won't work, as the underlying filesystem isn't NTFS.
Some UI glitches:
Resizing the window by clicking and dragging the lower-right corner is glitchy for me. It continues to adjust the window corner to the cursor position after the mouse button has been released. I was only able to "end" this resizing by moving the cursor inside the window and interacting with some of the UI elements (e.g. clicking a button or selecting a list item) once the window had reached its minimum allowed size.
Check boxes inside tables/lists don't draw correctly. (They're filled with black.)
What was not tested
Secure deletion, free space wiping, drive wiper.
Needs esent.dll, which Wine doesn't include. Copy it from a 32-bit Windows installation or extract it from the (>500 MiB) Win7 SP1 download used by winetricks gdiplus. Once that file's in place in %WINDIR%\system32, CCleaner works as described here.
