Hacknet

What works

Everything works, however there are several tweaks which need to be assessed.
First, .NET Framework, won't install under a 64-bit Wine. - so you need to create a 32-bit winecfg and install .net40 & XNA40 under Wine Arch 32.

WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine32 winecfg

env WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=~/.wine32 winetricks dotnet40 xna40

Then change to the directory you downloaded 'Hacknet' to, and run:

WINEPREFIX=~/.wine32 wine setup_hacknet_2.0.0.1.exe

Replace setup_hacknet_2.0.0.1.exe with the exe inside your directory.

What does not

Sound appears to be disabled by default.
You can use the slider in the settings to alter the sound from 0 to 100 but this seems to have no effect.

However, inside the actual game after setting up a profile, it might work.

Workarounds

What was not tested

I only tested installation and running the application, I didn't create a profile and play the game, the game runs good but no visible sound from my testing.

I'll keep testing this game, also if anyone can figure out if a DLL is needed through Winetricks to get Audio working on start up, please let me know.
