Dependencies for config menu?
by Trollwut on Wednesday August 9th 2017, 11:53
Hi! The game runs very fine for me, also the launcher.

But in the launcher I can't open the Settings. Anyone knows what I need to set to open it?

Launcher requires NET Framework 4.5. Or you can manually edit Grandia2_Settings.ini file in config folder.

Editing the config file is nice, but I want to setup my Steam controller for it, so I don't know how the config file interprets my buttons.

If I install `winetricks dotnet45` (which installs fine), then the launcher looks strange: i.imgur.com/ha5TZG5.png

I changed my Windows version back to Win7 after that, to be sure that's not the cause.
Without dotnet45, the launcher works fine for me. Just the Settings menu can't start, which shows missing dotnet45-dependencies in the debugger.

With dotnet45, this is the debugger log:

Looks like something is not implemented in Wine. You can create a bug report on Bugzilla ( bugs.winehq.org/ ) and maybe it will be fixed soon.
