What works

Installer. Launching the game. Audio. Mouse pointer.

What does not

Graphics rendering. There are black shadows and corruption everywhere and it appears many game assets are not loading. Fortunately text (including subtitles, hover descriptions and menu text) renders fine.

Additional Comments

Game was tested in a clean win32 prefix. The game prints a number of "Unknown error" warning as it launches when loading files from one of the installed zip archives. I've tried messing with Wine registry settings (StrictDrawOrdering, UseGLSL, VideoMemorySize, MaxShaderModelPS, DirectDrawRenderer, AlwaysOffscreen, etc.) but did not get anywhere. I also tried installing d3dx9 via winetricks, and experimented with wine-staging. Ultimately I could never get this running properly. I suspect the problem is the loading of game assets, rather than the rendering.
