Additional Comments

Overall the game installs and runs fine once it's patched to the latest version. There are some minor issues: Sometimes when the cockpit is disabled I encountered shadow flickering on the lower part of the screen. It's not drastically and it's not making the game unplayable. Some keys and key bindings didn't work like they did in Windows. Usually I can raise the engine with the ยด key (german layout) but on Wine the key is not assigned so I had to use the Q key. The combination of ALT+F5 disables the HUD on the external camera but not in Wine. Maybe there are more issues. Fullscreen isn't working. I had to emulate an virtual desktop (640x480 - which is the main resolution for menu and game). Ingame you can raise the resolution with CTRL+F4 and decrease with CTRL+F3. Note that the cockpits don't scale with any resolution higher than 640x480 so it looks a little bit messed up. With CTRL+F1 you can disable the cockpit (the HUD and MFDs is still there) if you don't want to play in 640x480. Menus are fixed to the 640x480 resolution. Sometimes the game refuses to start. When that happens try to start the game again (a couple of times). If that fails it could be useful the kill the bash process and then try to restart. For more performance it could be useful to choose "DirectDraw HAL" instead of "Automatic" in the options device selection. The installation and gameplay were tested in a clean Wine 32-bit prefix. No additional libraries were added. Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon 64-Bit NVidia proprietary driver 352.41
