Additional Comments

Requires the following winetricks packages installed: - d3dx9 - xact_jun2010 - directx9 directx9 must be installed last, even though it overwrites the d3dx9 and xact_jun2010 packages. For some reason, the game thinks DirectX isn't installed (and won't run) if you install it before d3dx9 and xact_jun2010. Benchmark score under wine on the RX 480 was about a third of what I get under Windows 10. Occlusion culling seems to be buggy (objects will flicker or disappear when they shouldn't)

For those who are experiencing DirectX Error 30000000

This happened on my MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch 2015 model running OSX El Capitan while trying to test the newest Wine-Staging release. The cause of problem is that the game does not correctly recognize the video memory size.

A workaround for this problem is to set video memory size manually, and this can be done pretty easily by editing registry.

Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D
Name: VideoMemorySize (REG_SZ)
Value: Actual video memory size (for me 1536)

However, even after doing this, you could only see the strange colors with fractal pattern(described as 'graphics do not show correctly' above) which makes it impossible to do anything with the game.
